Coffee shop and cafe where I go for work (relaxingly) in Bangkok

Trying to date back my recent travels, and trust that looking for good coffee shops in Bangkok was my recent focus. Let's start from here then.

Heritage bakery cafe

I was looking for a place for work and simple bite, this is a perfect choice. It locates on a very quiet alley but easily go by BTS plus a bit of walking, or taxi of course. It is so quiet that you can spend the whole morning/afternoon/day for work. Bakery varieties and menu choices are so impressed that I have put this as my "favorite" on my google map, which means I will definitely return sometime.

Vanilla garden comes with Vanilla baker and Vanilla cafe and I guess their names tell clearly the differences which I don't need to elaborate. The bakery side is a bit noisy so that I have chosen to work at the cafe side. I wished to sit by the window but the table was occupied.

The coffee club

This is a highly rated coffee shop and I find it ok. The location is perfectly convenient especially for whom always travel by BTS, it sits right next to a station. They kindly provide power and free wifi for you to work long hours here. Wide range of food and drink but tastes are only so so.

Gallery Bangkok is recommended by Gallery Hua Hin which is my always favorite and must-go. I love the way they do the drip coffee, which makes you totally relax and lay back since it really takes forever to prepare a cup of coffee. Don't expect anything else but coffee, only a few pieces of cake on shelf and that's all. This one in Bangkok is a bit small in size so that it is a bit crowded.

I must be fair to write comment on this one...

I was warm welcomed by a waiter, power and wifi are arranged well long before they ask for my order. I went there quite late, the window seats were all taken, so that I had to work at the dark corner which was not very pleasant but definitely nothing wrong with the shop. I realised that many people went there for simple supper and they smell nice. I will try again for sure.

This is a coffee shop recommended by Gallery Hua Hin as well. Another perfect place for work and simple bite. I must mention their "slow coffee"; it comes with a few coffee ice blocks and adding milk and syrup on your own preference (amount and pace), let the coffee ice blocks melt SLOWLY which means you having your ice coffee SLOWLY. Isn't it a great idea?!

2B Bake and brew cafe

I had been to this cafe many times, for work literally. They provide you not just a power plug but an extender which you can charge your laptop, your phone, your camera, your everything. Free wifi is fast enough that you can upload photos quickly. I usually sit by the large window overlooking a park, I can really relax and work (write). Food and drink are not disappointing, don't you worry if you just want simple bite. 

Rocket

I was here only once, simply because their food is not as good as reviewed and a bit pricey. Seatings inside is a bit packed so that you don't feel comfortable to work for long. 

Rocket Coffeebar S.49

This is another branch of Rocket Coffeebar which locates in Thonglor. Honesetly, everything in this branch is so much better than the one locates in Sathorn. 

I especially like their setting, the atrium with large windows and a lot of natural light. Perfect setting for work, but again in relaxing manner. 

I have ordered a small bite, just a waffle and a hot cocoa. Let's talk about waffle. The berries on top taste so much different from other shops. Taste is really like a mix of sweet/sour/salty, can't explain nor describe. Just really perfect way to prepare it. 

If you wish to have some fun instead of just a bit, this hot cocoa is a great idea. You have to put/stir/leave the cocoa lollipop in the hot milk, and you will have your cup of hot cocoa once the lollipop is molten.

Had high expectation before I went to this... most of the tables are low tables which is not the best idea for working on laptops. 

Roast

Roast is always my choice if I have good appetite and prepare to have a bigger meal. But of course many people just sit there for simple bite and coffee along with their laptop. Frankly speaking, I still haven't got a chance to go there for work although I have been here for many times. Their food is extremely high quality and yummy, and their coffee is irresistible, smell inside is complex but nice. 

Chu Chocolate Bar and Cafe

I did some research for good egg benedict and noticed this cafe. I didn't bring my work with me since I doubt if it is a good place for working. It locates inside a mall next to BTS, access is excellently convenient. I smell the bakery, chocolate and coffee and know exactly where the shop is without browsing around. Egg benedict is of course my food choice but I struggle to choose my drink. The drink menu especially the chocolate drink section is too tempted to make up my decision. I have finally ordered a dark chocolate with marshmallows. The egg benedict is as good as mentioned and rated by others. I don't want to describe the hot chocolate but insist of asking you to try it on your own.

I had to go to Sametivej Sukhumvit hospital for some reasons and I tried to search for a small bite instead of going to Au Bon Pain or Starbucks downstairs. I noticed this cafe serving excellent egg tart and other kinds of bakery. I have tried both egg yolk tart and egg white tart and I prefer the later one. I have also tried the ordinary size and mini size and I think ordering one normal and one mini would be the perfect portion for myself.

I was an hour earlier than my appointment time in the neighbourhood so that I walked around and ended up at this cafe. Honestly nothing really attracts me but I just need to sit down a bit instead of walking around for an hour or even longer. Going through the menu and suddenly crave for some ice-cream. Affogato on menu caught my eyes. Wow, two scopes of ice-cream and some brownies on top, shall I continue?
